Winter Surcharge

Announcement Winter Surcharge 2015-2016

Dear Customer,

This is a notification of the introduction of winter surcharge for our European Ports.

A) Winter surcharge.
The upcoming (Russian) winter season poses substantial ‘’challenges’’ operational wise. As your transportation provider, it’s our goal to maintain our frequency and best possible transit times.
Therefore F-ESF is facing higher port dues and operational costs during the winter period and will apply a Winter surcharge of EUR75/TEU for full and/or empty containers shipped between Dunkirk, Zeebrugge, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Hamburg, UK, Italy and St. Petersburg, Ust Luga.
The Winter surcharge will be applicable to all vessels / voyages departing on or after 1st December 2015; up to and including 30th April 2016 (departure dates ex loading ports).

B) St. Petersburg THC and THC Winter surcharge.
The terminals FCT/First Container Terminal and Ust-Luga ULCT/Ust-Luga Container Terminal increased their container handling charges and added a THC Winter surcharge on top of EUR23/Unit.
For full and/or empty containers to FCT and Ust-Luga ULCT. The THC Winter surcharge will be applicable to all vessels / voyages departing on or after 1st December 2015; up to and including 30th April 2016 (departure dates ex loading ports).

Apart from the above mentioned ‘’extra cost’’ items, we take the opportunity to advise you that with immediate effect F-ESF also accepts your shipments on term LIFO, which entails that SPB THC and ISPS can be settled at destination.

If you require additional information please feel free to contact us.

With kindest regards,
FESCO North West Europe BV
